When I first was told we were meeting at their church for their photo session. I did not think much of it. I am always a bit nervous to do a session where I have not had the time to have some sort of a plan. I want this time to be perfect and special! So anyway…. I pull up, park and can I just tell you my mouth dropped! This place was beautiful. It was perfect. There was a fountain and vines growing everywhere. I could not have been more impressed. Meeting them was just as special. They had the most adorable family and you could just tell they were all very close. They chose this church because it meant something to them and had history. Beth informed me she had been going there her whole entire life! It made this session even more unique. My time with them was great! I was able to capture some sincere moments that really showed each of their individual personalities. I think being in a comfortable setting made it easier for them all. As much as I LOVED this spot, I will keep it a secret J

The Grimm's Wedding
I was there for their engagement and what an honor that was! They were just glowing with love. And now, well they asked me to take pictures of their special day too! Of course I could not turn that down. These two know what love is all about. You can see it in their eyes and all over their faces. Their wedding was sweet and perfect. The beach was so gorgeous that day. The bride and groom looked amazing! I always feel blessed to be a part of any moment but being a part of their wedding was special to me. I am sure you will see more of these two as the years go on. Maybe with some new additions to their family?? No pressure of course!!!

To be honest I was not sure I would get a smile out of this little lady! She was very shy and reserved. Me and my camera were no match for her idea of excitement. However, when mom came around she lit up like a sweet little doll. She just seemed to soak in everything around her and watch. She really enjoyed my little kitty friend that seems to come around every time I visit this spot. I enjoyed watching her and mommy interact and was glad I was there to capture some precious moments of them. I sure hope to get more and of course watch her grow!!!

Anna and Ryan
Anna and Ryan
I have pretty much known all this kids their whole lives. Needless to say, they showed me no mercy! I was on a mission for some good smiles. Maybe it took some bribing of, well, icecream….but it worked! Hey, whatever it takes to make two brothers so some affection right? We all had fun and I of course burned off some calories chasing after them all. Caylin was a sweetie! She is shy and reserved but after a few goofy faces she came around. It is always exciting for me to see kids acting silly and carefree. I love being able to photograph these moments for everyone to enjoy. I know I will be taking more as they grow and cannot wait to share them with you all. Stay tuned……..
Hanging out with the Harnischs is like hanging out with your own fam! Well, except they are way cooler and much better looking. I had a great time capturing some smiles with this crew. With a clan of girls there was never a dull moment and Daddy Harnisch seemed relaxed with all the girls. I of course had a blast watching this family interact. They were “real” and silly. You can tell just by looking at the pictures here that they all have a bond. They know what family is all about, being close and appreciating each other. I feel blessed to know such a great family like Harnischs. I hope that I get to capture more moments like these. So here is to another beautiful family that I have been honored to photograph. Thank you Holly and Chris!

December Contest Winners - Riley's
If you know me, you know I do not want to do things the “normal” way. So when I have a contest it is going to be fun! For December I offered a free photo session to the person who had the worst picture to use as a Christmas card. The most votes would win them a free photo session and the opportunity to get better pictures to use. Kristy and her adorable picture won hands down! She had the most votes and it was well deserved. Poor mama tried the year before to take her own pictures and well, let’s just say they did not turn out the best. We decided to go to the town center to take these pictures. I had so much fun running around after these two kids! They were so full of life and energy. It really brought the Christmas spirit alive. Now, mom and dad were fun too, even though they did not want to be in the pictures. I probably should not mention that we took a few pictures inside the Santa house since, well….. It was not “officially” opened. Rebels for sure! Great pictures and great memories! Congratulations again to the Riley’s for winning this session. It was well deserved and a complete blast for me.
